ProCare Therapy is hiring a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in South Paris, Maine for an immediate assignment running through June 10, 2027. This role focuses entirely on early intervention with a manageable caseload of 25 preschool students. It offers a stable, 32-hour work week with a small commute between local school locations and an excellent hourly rate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide Therapy: Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to Pre-K children.
* Evaluate & Assess: Conduct communication evaluations for early childhood populations.
* Manage IEPs: Develop and track progress toward student communication goals.
* Travel Locally: Drive between a small number of local preschool sites during the work week.
* Collaborate: Work closely with preschool teachers, support staff, and parents.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
* Licensure: Active (or eligible) SLP license for the state of Maine.
* Credentials: Open to CCC-SLP and Clinical Fellows (CFY).
* Transit: Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for local travel.
