Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California
- Previous experience providing therapy in school settings preferred
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and state educational requirements
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Willingness to work with diverse student populations across all K-12 grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Provide direct SLP services to students in both group and individual settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate student progress
- Incorporate evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic approaches
- Complete timely and accurate documentation of services and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and relevant school events
