Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Recent experience in a school-based setting, preferably at the elementary level
- Strong understanding of language-based learning disabilities and dyslexia
- Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
Key Duties:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students according to IEP goals
- Assess, diagnose, and document students’ speech, language, and literacy needs
- Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to students with dyslexia and other language-based challenges
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education teams to support inclusive learning
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student progress reporting
- Offer guidance to families and school staff about best strategies for student success
