Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in schools or with elementary-aged students preferred
- Proficiency in assessment, intervention, and documentation within a school environment
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and other team members
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary school students
- Evaluate and develop individualized educational plans (IEPs) based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
- Consult with families regarding student progress and strategies for continued support
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and district requirements
- Adapt therapy approaches to best fit each student’s unique strengths and challenges
