Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active SLP license in New Jersey
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in school-based settings, specifically with elementary-aged children, is highly desired
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for children with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Collect data and document student progress toward communication goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations with multidisciplinary teams
- Consult with teachers and contribute strategies for classroom success
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive environment for student growth
