Desired Background:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Possess a current SLP license valid for the state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows also encouraged
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly valued
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for partnering with teachers and families
- Proficiency in documentation and use of teletherapy platforms (if applicable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for a diverse student population
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans targeting each student’s unique needs
- Deliver direct therapy—individually or in small groups—in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support student success
- Maintain detailed progress notes and accurate documentation for compliance and reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
