Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active SLP-CCC or SLPA licensure in Alabama (or eligibility for reciprocal)
- Proven experience in pediatric and school settings; teletherapy background a plus
- Solid understanding of IEP procedures and documentation
- Commitment to delivering individualized, student-centered therapy
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and provide speech/language therapy
- Serve both as direct provider and as supervisor or supervisee, based on credentials and assignment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and educators to maximize student outcomes
- Utilize the district’s IEP system (training provided for new users)
- Deliver therapy services across assigned schools, with paid travel between sites
- Participate in team meetings and professional development
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state policies
