An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in a supportive middle school environment. Key Qualifications:
- Holds or is eligible for state certification to provide services in schools, or able to work under supervision (SLP-CF and SLPA are welcome)
- Experience with school-based SLP services, including therapy, IEP input, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Available to work onsite; remote/virtual candidates will not be considered
- Comfortable managing varying needs across a middle school caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech therapy for students in grades 5–8, addressing speech, language, and communication goals
- Complete all required documentation, including IEP input and regular progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support optimal student growth
- Maintain accurate records and timely communication regarding student development and needs
- Attend meetings as necessary, contributing to multidisciplinary team planning and interventions
