Desired Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP license (CCC-SLP preferred; open to Clinical Fellows and SLPAs with onsite SLP supervision)
- Previous experience working in school settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with SEIS and California schools' documentation processes is advantageous
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Willingness to travel between multiple school locations within the district as needed
- Comfort supporting mild/moderate caseloads; ability to assist with more complex cases when required
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation following state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert recommendations and progress updates
- Manage caseloads of varying sizes, adapting service delivery as district needs evolve
