This contract role, available immediately through the end of the 2026-2027 school year, offers the opportunity to work with an engaging caseload of approximately 36-40 students in a collaborative environment. What you’ll need to bring:
- Current SLP license (will consider Clinical Fellows, CFY)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligibility for CFY supervision
- School-based SLP experience preferred, but open to those passionate about working with young children
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and inclusive education
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting screenings, evaluations, and therapy with children ages birth to five
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans (IEPs/IFSPs) focusing on each student’s needs
- Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other specialists for holistic support
- Monitoring progress and maintaining detailed records in line with school and state requirements
- Offering guidance and resources to educators and caregivers to maximize student communication outcomes
This opportunity is exclusively onsite at a well-equipped daycare center, promoting a hands-on, interactive approach to therapy. A flexible, one-day work-from-home arrangement may be considered for the right candidate.
