Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Wisconsin SLP license required
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- SLP-CCC preferred, but CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school environment is valued, though not mandatory
- Experience in pediatric and healthcare settings, teletherapy, or a history of working with school-aged children is a bonus
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ progress
- Document student performance and maintain records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of each student, whether in-person or via teletherapy
