Two positions are available for passionate SLP professionals eager to make a difference:
Position 1: SLP (Maternity Leave)
- Part-time, 20 hours weekly
- Begin mid-February and contribute through the end of the school year
- Provide direct therapy, conduct evaluations, and support students’ communication needs in a collaborative environment
Position 2: Supervising SLP (Maternity Leave)
- Full-time, starting mid-March through the close of the school year
- Supervise and mentor developing clinicians (including CFYs), oversee caseload management, and ensure high-quality services for a diverse student population
Successful candidates will bring a positive attitude, dedication, and expertise to their roles. Both positions are offered on a contract basis and are tailored to dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists eager to support educational success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active State of Texas SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Supervisory/mentorship experience (for Supervising SLP role)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students
- Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP development
- Track progress and maintain comprehensive records
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff
- Provide supervision and coaching (Supervising SLP role)
