This full-time role calls for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support student success and communication development at a school near Sebastopol and Windsor, CA. Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure in California
- Previous experience in a school setting or with adolescent populations preferred
- Skilled in conducting comprehensive speech/language evaluations, developing effective treatment plans, and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Committed to working onsite; remote and SLPA support not available
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in grades 9-12, addressing a range of communication needs
- Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams, and engage with parents as needed
- Offer classroom-based support and consultation to help integrate speech and language goals into students’ daily learning experiences
- Maintain accurate records, track student progress, and adapt interventions as needed for optimal outcomes
