Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Preferred experience in school-based settings, particularly at the elementary level
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies to diverse student populations and needs
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students in accordance with IEP goals
- Screen, assess, and evaluate students to identify speech and language delays or disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and adjust intervention plans
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Support two campuses as needed or focus on one site, ensuring all caseload requirements are met
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
