Position Overview
We are seeking qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide services to elementary-aged students during the 2026–2027 school year. These onsite positions will support a caseload of approximately 55 students with a variety of communication needs, helping them develop the speech, language, and communication skills necessary for academic and social success.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about working in a school-based setting and committed to collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Develop appropriate treatment plans and goals based on student needs
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district special education requirements
- Support students with a wide range of communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic language needs
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet California school-based SLP requirements, including:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) considered if eligible
- Valid California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential, or eligibility to obtain one
- Fingerprint clearance and successful background check
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
