Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for the state of California
- Credential required to serve in school settings
- Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop rapport with students, families, and school staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication screenings and comprehensive evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for eligible students
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services at the elementary level
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports to support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Offer strategies and resources for classrooms and families to support communication development
This contract position begins August 12, 2026, and extends until approximately June 9, 2027, allowing you to engage deeply with your caseload and see the positive impact of your work over the school year.
