Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Maine
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric caseloads is beneficial
- Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication, articulation, language, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student outcomes
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in school meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and occasional professional development
