This role is set to begin technically on August 31, 2026, but those available to participate in orientation and safety trainings from August 24-28 are highly valued—although this is not required. With a steady schedule of 33.75 hours per week, you'll be able to build strong relationships with both students and staff.
Key Qualifications:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist and ASHA CCCs (or eligibility).
- Experience or strong interest in working within a school-based setting.
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload of 38-42 students across all grade levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Effective organizational and time management abilities.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a school setting.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and family members to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
- Provide direct therapy, screenings, and consultations as needed.
