Speech Therapist in Seattle, WA
This opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists specializing in school-based therapy. Located in Seattle, WA, these full-time contract positions focus on providing essential support to students during temporary maternity leave periods. Serving in a school environment, you will work directly with children to assess, plan, and implement individualized speech and language interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Document and track student progress and adjust therapy goals as necessary
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently
Contract Details:
- Position 1: Immediate start through June 17th
- Position 2: Starting in early May through June 17th
- Full-time hours
