School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Scranton, Pennsylvania

Desired Background and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
- Reliable transportation for travel between local elementary schools
- Ability to perform all services in person, as teletherapy is not an option
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in elementary-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with faculty and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, with dedicated hours for paperwork management
- Consult and work closely with teachers, school staff, and parents to support student progress
- Engage in ongoing progress monitoring and reporting
