School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Scottsdale, Arizona

Qualifications & Preferred Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience or strong interest working with higher-needs student populations
- Familiarity with assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for K-8 grades
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Manage a small, focused caseload for more personalized support
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to best meet students' needs
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports throughout the year
- Help empower students to reach their communication goals
