Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Arizona
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Prior experience working with school-aged children, especially within K-8 settings
- Familiarity supporting students with higher needs and varying exceptionalities
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders among K-8 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the school team
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services, adapting interventions to meet student needs
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
- Communicate and work closely with teachers, families, and other professionals
