Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in K-8 settings
- Comfort supporting students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs, including high-needs populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students in K-8th grade
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with a wide variety of communication challenges
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and compliance with school and district policies
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
