Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Surprise, Arizona
Help support students’ communication and learning as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a welcoming school environment near Surprise, AZ. Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) eligibility
- Previous experience in pediatric and school-based settings preferred
- Knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
- State licensure or ability to obtain license for practice in Arizona
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations of students’ speech and language abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for students on caseload
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEP requirements
- Document progress and provide input on multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support overall student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to program planning
