Speech Therapist in Schaumburg, IL

In this role, you will enjoy significant scheduling autonomy within the school day, with the chance to tailor your work hours around school needs and your own preferences. Your caseload will be centered in one elementary building, supporting 35-40 students in a dual language environment, so fluency in Spanish is essential. Orientation is provided prior to the start to ensure a seamless transition, and ongoing support is available onsite.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active Illinois SLP license or eligibility
- Bilingual in Spanish (required)
- Experience or strong comfort level with dual language programs
- Open to both SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY applicants (Supervision provided)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide direct intervention to bilingual elementary students
- Develop and implement IEPs, collaborating closely with staff and families
- Participate in dual language initiatives, ensuring culturally responsive and effective care
- Maintain documentation and track student progress
- Contribute to the overall success of the school’s student support team
