Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Illinois license as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Prior experience in pediatric or school environments highly preferred
- Demonstrated skill with sensory integration and educational goal-tracking
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and diverse student populations
- Ability to adapt to varying age groups and classroom dynamics
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide therapy to students in both general and special education classrooms
- Design individualized goals based on student needs and monitor progress
- Liaise with teachers, staff, and families to maximize each student’s success
- Document services and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines
