Experience and background we are seeking:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or appropriate undergraduate credentials for SLPAs
- Current licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP or SLPA in the state of California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs preferred; CFYs are welcomed and supported
- Familiarity with pediatric caseloads, ideally in school settings
- Experience with direct, group, and teletherapy sessions is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Key responsibilities in this role include:
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other therapy professionals to support student progress
- Documenting and reporting on student progress accurately and efficiently
- Providing teletherapy services as needed to accommodate remote learning or hybrid schedules
- Supporting inclusive education by fostering communication skills in diverse student populations
