Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Proven experience delivering direct therapy services in school environments
- Solid understanding of speech and language assessment tools and interventions
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students, adjusting strategies to meet diverse needs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and document detailed results
- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for a caseload of approximately 50 students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary school teams to support student success
- Maintain thorough records, progress reports, and ensure compliance with policies and timelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to case conferences as needed
