Make an impact supporting high school students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist working onsite with 9th through 12th graders in the Windsor, CA area. This full-time position lets you work closely with a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing student success, focusing on communication, language, and speech improvement in an engaging school setting.
You’ll interface directly with students, teachers, and families to identify and address a variety of speech and language challenges. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current (or eligible) licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting with grades 9–12 is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working onsite only; remote or hybrid is not available
- Please note: SLPA support is not available for this position
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other staff to support each student’s academic needs
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with federal and state mandates
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring
- Provide direct therapy and intervention for a diverse student population
