Speech Pathology - Fairfield, CA
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position in Fairfield, CA. This role requires a certified speech-language pathologist with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support students' speech and language development in an educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with school-aged children
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for speech and language disorders
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and students
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students to identify areas of need
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy with educational objectives
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring
