School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Vallejo, California
An exciting opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in an engaging school environment located in Vallejo, CA. This contract position spans the full academic school year, providing vital speech and language services to enhance student communication skills and academic success.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments in accordance with individual student needs
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to address speech and language disorders
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to goal setting and service planning
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with K-12 populations in school settings
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and related disorders
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, families, and staff
- Commitment to student-centered care and evidence-based therapy practices
