Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Illinois State Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (IDFPR)
- ISBE Professional Educator License (see ASHA for detailed info)
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials
- Pediatric and/or healthcare SLP experience preferred
- Background supporting students with Autism (self-contained environment) is a plus
- Strong collaborative and communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered learning
Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored speech and language services to students in early childhood through grade 5
- Conduct assessments to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support each child’s needs
