Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Santa Clara, CA
Step into a pivotal contract opportunity supporting school communities in the greater Santa Clara area. This full-time SLP role provides essential overflow and assessment support rather than acting as the primary SLP for any one building. Your expertise will help lighten caseloads and ensure students receive timely, quality speech-language services.
This assignment is set to begin August 7, 2026, with the end date to be determined. You’ll enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Each day, you’ll be assigned to a different school location within the district, offering variety and the chance to work with diverse student populations while connecting with multiple school teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current CCC-SLP credential (Speech-Language Pathologist, Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Experience providing speech-language services in school settings preferred
- Ability to effectively manage flexible, changing locations and student needs
- Strong skills in assessment, communication, and collaboration
- Licensed to practice as an SLP in California
Responsibilities:
- Provide supplemental SLP services to several school sites as needed
- Conduct speech-language assessments for overload or high-need cases
- Coordinate with school staff to deliver comprehensive support for students
- Adapt quickly to daily changes in location and caseload
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP processes
