School Speech Language Pathologist - Santa Clara, California
Step into a dynamic role providing essential Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) support in schools near Santa Clara, CA. This contract opportunity is ideal for SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who thrive in collaborative educational environments and are passionate about helping students succeed. You’ll be joining a dedicated team, offering additional language and communication support where it’s needed most, starting August 7, 2026. This is a full-time position where each day brings a new school and a fresh group of students.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current SLP license and CCC certification
- Prior experience in school-based SLP settings strongly preferred
- Ability to perform student assessments and manage an evolving caseload
- Comfortable traveling to different school sites within the area
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Adaptability and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide supplemental speech-language services to help manage high caseloads
- Conduct student assessments as needed to address overload situations
- Work at one designated school each day (locations vary weekday to weekday)
- Collaborate with primary SLPs and educational staff to ensure seamless support for students
- Maintain accurate records, and document progress in accordance with school district expectations
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
You’ll work Monday through Friday, 8am-3pm, with the benefit of a predictable schedule and the opportunity to make a genuine impact on student lives. The contract length is full time until the position is permanently filled, offering stability and variety in your daily work.
