Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Santa Clara, California
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity making a difference in students’ lives in the Santa Clara area. This full-time, onsite position is dedicated to supporting high school students, running the full 22/23 school year with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours. As part of a collaborative team, you’ll help students reach their fullest potential by providing expert speech-language pathology services in a supportive school environment.
Ideal candidates possess a versatile skillset across pediatric and school-based speech-language therapy, and may bring experience with teletherapy, clinical fellowship year (CFY), or as Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in healthcare settings. You’ll join a network of passionate professionals focused on student progress and well-being.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent (for SLPs and CFYs)
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, or CFY candidates welcome
- Experience serving pediatric/high school populations, especially in schools
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in California
- Experience as an SLPA in healthcare a bonus
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite speech-language pathology services to a high school caseload
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and document progress
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student goals
- Utilize evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
