School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Santa Clara, California
An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to make an impact during the upcoming academic year. This full-time, onsite contract position focuses on supporting students from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade in a dynamic educational environment. As part of a collaborative team—working alongside two SLPs and two SLPAs—you’ll play a pivotal role in fostering students’ communication skills and academic success.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current/eligible California SLP license and ASHA CCCs.
- Experience in schools, working with TK-12th grade populations.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with a 35-hour onsite workweek (Monday through Friday).
- Ability to adapt intervention strategies for diverse student needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students, addressing their individual IEP goals.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation.
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and progress reports.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere for students of varying abilities.
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team of SLPs and SLPAs.
