Exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade, all at a single school site. You’ll collaborate closely with a supportive team of four professionals—including fellow SLPs and SLPAs—to deliver high-quality speech and language services in a dynamic educational environment.
Role Details:
- Full contract from August 2026 to June 2027
- 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Serve students in TK through 12th grade at one onsite location
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to support student success
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid CA SLP license and current certification
- Recent experience in school-based settings highly preferred
- Ability to foster communication development in diverse age groups
- Comfortable working collaboratively with SLPAs and other specialists
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and the student support team
- Keep accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Promote a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere onsite
