School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Santa Ana, California

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly moderate needs
- Strong background in developing and implementing IEPs
- Solid understanding of best practices in speech and language therapy within educational settings
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, supporting their academic and functional success
- Assess, diagnose, and document students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary IEP meetings, contributing expertise and clear recommendations
- Develop personalized goals and interventions, monitoring and reporting on student progress
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with school policies and standards
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student success within the classroom
This contract role offers a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week, allowing for meaningful rapport-building and continuity of care. You’ll have the chance to work primarily at a middle school and collaborate closely with engaged staff and administrators.
