Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Texas SLPA licensure required
- Demonstrated fluency in both English and Spanish (bilingual proficiency essential)
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to a workload model focused on student needs, not just caseload numbers
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language pathology services to students as prescribed, under supervision of an SLP
- Support assessments, progress monitoring, and intervention planning in coordination with supervising SLP
- Maintain detailed session notes and documentation in compliance with school and state standards
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication goals
- Participate actively in team meetings and parent communications as needed
- Travel between 1-2 local school sites as assigned
