Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA licensure required
- Bilingual fluency in both Spanish and English
- Previous experience in a school-based setting as an SLPA preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with students, families, and staff
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities to effectively manage documentation and therapy planning
- Comfortable adapting to varied school environments and working collaboratively
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services and interventions under the supervision of licensed SLPs
- Support students in achieving their IEP goals, focusing on communication and language development
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and families to foster student progress and well-being
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of student performance and therapy sessions
- Adapt therapy techniques to be culturally responsive and linguistically appropriate
