Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services adhering to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and team members to promote student progress
- Provide supervision for Clinical Fellows if applicable
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Utilize evidence-based practices to assess and treat speech and language disorders in a school environment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Florida SLP License required
- Credentialed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or equivalent
- For this school year, candidates with a Bachelor's degree who are willing to work under a temporary teaching certificate may be considered (SLPA license not accepted)
- Ability to supervise Clinical Fellows is a plus
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills suitable for a school setting
Location and Schedule:
- 4 days per week: 3 days at Ormond Beach Elementary and 1 day at Pine Trail Elementary in Ormond Beach, FL
- 4 days per week at Silver Sands Middle School in Port Orange, FL
- Next school year, the position will transition to a 5-day workweek
- Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract runs from ASAP start date through June 5, 2026
