Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will directly impact school-aged children, addressing diverse speech, language, and communication needs. Your weekly schedule is thoughtfully distributed: three days at Ormond Beach Elementary, one day at Pine Trail Elementary, and four days at Silver Sands Middle School. For the current school year, candidates holding a bachelor’s degree who are willing to work under a temporary teaching certificate (not an SLPA license) are encouraged to apply for the elementary setting. Candidates for Silver Sands Middle must have an SLP credential, with supervision available for Clinical Fellows.
What we’re seeking:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Bachelor’s accepted for Ormond Beach/Pine Trail Elementary this year with willingness to obtain teaching certificate)
- Current or eligible Florida SLP license
- Ability to support and supervise Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering positive, inclusive learning environments
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students
- Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate records and document sessions in compliance with district policies
- Offer support and guidance to CFs as needed
This contract provides a consistent 37.5-hour workweek through June 5th, 2026, and an opportunity to continue in a full 5-day role next school year.
