Qualifications:
- Current and valid CA SLPA License is required
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of school-based SLP best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to collaborating with teachers, parents, and school teams
Responsibilities:
- Implement speech-language therapy plans developed by an SLP
- Work directly with students individually or in small groups
- Assist in screening and assessment procedures
- Document, monitor, and report student progress
- Communicate proactively with supervising SLP and educational staff
- Support IEP implementation and help students meet communication goals
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and procedures
