School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Andover, Minnesota
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle school students as a speech-language pathologist. This role focuses exclusively on providing direct and indirect IEP services to a diverse caseload of 24 students, all of whom utilize some form of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). With another SLP provider in the building for collaboration, you’ll be part of a supportive and knowledgeable team environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current Minnesota PELSB license with CCC-SLP credential
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, but not required
- Strong knowledge or willingness to develop expertise in AAC methods and technology
- Dedication to individualized student progress and collaborative problem-solving
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging speech-language therapy to middle school students with varying levels of AAC needs, per IEP requirements
- Collaborate with fellow SLP and special education staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain detailed documentation of progress and session notes for IEP meetings and compliance
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for effective AAC interventions
- Provide both direct services and consultation for case management—no evaluation responsibilities required
