Key Qualifications:
- Valid CA SLPA license required
- Experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Skills in articulation, language, and social communication support
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) a plus, but not required
- Passion for serving diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support SLPs in delivering therapy to students, both individually and in small groups
- Implement treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals
- Document student progress and maintain accurate session records
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Assist with preparation of therapy materials and activities
- Adhere to all state and district guidelines
