Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates also welcome
- Experience or strong interest in working in school-based settings
- Ability to manage a caseload ranging from early childhood through middle school
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive, inclusive practices
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct SLP services
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to facilitate student progress
- Document all services provided and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Employ evidence-based interventions to support students’ language, articulation, fluency, and social-pragmatic needs
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
