Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist on a contract basis. This role offers the chance to play a dynamic part in helping young learners reach their communication goals in a vibrant school setting. With a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week and an elementary caseload, you’ll collaborate closely with educators and families in the school community.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid SLP - CCC certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience working as an SLP in a school or healthcare setting supporting pediatric clients
- Skilled in designing and implementing therapy for elementary-aged children
- Proficient in collaborative team settings and comfortable communicating with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Open to candidates with SLP experience only; CFYs and SLPAs are not eligible for this position
- Previous teletherapy experience is a plus, though current needs are for onsite support only
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to elementary students
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Provide support and resources to classroom teachers and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
