Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid California licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required)
- Proven background in pediatric speech-language pathology within a school or healthcare setting
- Direct experience with school-age children at the elementary level
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and evidence-based therapy practices
- Commitment to onsite, in-person care (teletherapy and VOCO experience not needed for this role)
- No Clinical Fellows (CFYs) or SLP Assistants (SLPAs) considered
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for elementary students
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support each student’s progress
- Maintain detailed records and participate actively in IEP meetings
- Provide intervention services tailored to each student's unique needs
- Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment
