You’ll work alongside two other Speech-Language Pathologists and one Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), utilizing your talents to foster communication growth in young learners from transitional kindergarten through 8th grade or guide preschoolers (ages 3-5) at a single school site. Each position ensures a manageable caseload of 35-45 students, allowing for focused, evidence-based interventions that truly make a difference.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California SLP license and ASHA CCCs (or eligibility)
- Experience delivering school-based speech-language services
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel between rural school sites as needed
- Bilingual proficiency preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students, tracking measurable progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary IEP teams
- Maintain detailed, compliant documentation of services and student outcomes
- Contribute creative solutions to foster an inclusive, communicative learning environment
