Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in San Jose, CA

In this role, you’ll provide valuable assistance across multiple school sites, enhancing service delivery due to rising caseloads. Each day, you’ll be assigned to a single school, with your location shifting throughout the week, ensuring your expertise benefits a range of students and teams. Clinical responsibilities include supporting existing SLPs rather than holding a primary site, along with conducting targeted assessments to relieve caseload overflow.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in California
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience within a school-based setting preferred
- Adaptability and organizational skills for working at multiple sites
- Strong assessment and intervention abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students as assigned
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to support high-volume caseloads
- Collaborate with site SLPs and faculty for effective service delivery
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation
- Travel between different school placements, with one assignment per weekday
