Speech Language Pathologist in San Jose, CA

Working with a varied caseload that includes Speech-Only, Resource Specialist Program (RSP), and Special Day Class (SDC) students, you’ll help students overcome communication challenges and achieve their fullest potential. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Previous experience working with elementary-age children, especially in school settings
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide therapy and assessment in person to a diverse caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech-language therapy to students primarily in TK-2nd grade
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create goal-oriented treatment plans
- Collaborate with general and special education staff to support inclusive learning
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, timely records
- Engage with families, teachers, and staff to maximize student success
- Help foster a positive, encouraging environment for every child
This full-time contract runs from January 5, 2026, through June 12, 2026, with a steady 37.5-hour work week.
