Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Recent experience working in school settings, especially with K/1 age groups
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes, evaluations, and progress monitoring
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions for diverse learning needs
  • Positive, adaptable approach and strong team collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K/1 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans through evidence-based interventions
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families
  • Deliver engaging group and one-on-one therapy sessions
  • Contribute to classroom strategies to support language development
  • Educate staff and families about strategies to enhance student communication skills
