Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure as an SLP (Speech Language Pathologist)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads
- Understanding of IEP processes, including assessment and delivery of services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students
- Conduct evaluations and reassessments to determine students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, occasionally extending hours for after-school meetings as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and other team members to support student success across educational settings
Position Details:
- Full-time, contract role
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with flexibility for additional hours for after-school IEP sessions
- Start date: End of January
